Apostello

Apostello

At St. Mary Magdalene, youth ministry has shifted its emphasis on bringing young people together in the community to sending young people out to transform the world, providing them with knowledge, faith skills, and authentic relationships with Jesus Christ necessary to live as disciples.

Apostello small groups focus on deepening personal Christ-centered relationships. We do this through using God’s stories and understanding how His stories intersect with our own.

What is Apostello?
Apostello is for high school teens in 11th and 12th grade who are no longer seeking Confirmation. Apostello groups meet on Sundays from 4:30-5:45pm in a room reserved for their group..

Apostello is a small group ministry that focuses on strengthening your relationship with God and your connections with your peers. ***NEW FORMAT: Teens are placed in mid-sized groups with everyone from their grade and gender group. That means 4 total groups: Junior girls, Junior guys, Senior girls, and Senior guys. The content will have a combination of bible study and relational ministry, with 2-3 adult leaders per group. Occasionally, groups will combine for a joint formation night or activity, based on what the groups want. The structure is much less formal than “The Way”, allowing for more discussion time and personal development. If you are entering 11th or 12th grade and want to grow in your knowledge of the faith, develop your spiritual life, and build relationships with more of your Catholic peers, then Apostello is for you!
