Uganda Water Project

Fr. Francis has been a true blessing to our St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church & School community, sharing his faith, joy, and many gifts with us. Now, we have a special opportunity to give back to him—and to his home and parish communities in Uganda.
St. Mary Magdalene is proud to launch the Uganda Water Project, bringing life-changing access to clean water for the people of Uganda. By helping to build a community well or water catchment system, we can provide clean, reliable water to hundreds of people—something many of us take for granted every time we turn on the tap.
Every drop counts. Together, we can unite our generous StMM community with our brothers and sisters in Uganda in a powerful way. Your support will make a lasting difference.

In this video, Father Francis speaks with St. Mary Magdalene school children about daily life in his hometown village, sharing how both children and adults must gather water each day. He describes the challenges they face, long walks under the hot sun, carrying heavy containers, and often relying on water sources that are not clean or safe.

In many communities like his, families may walk miles each day just to collect water, and children are often responsible for helping. Access to clean water is something we often take for granted, but for many, it is a daily struggle that requires time, strength, and sacrifice.
